Bruce began his research career as a Veterinary Technologist at the University of Utah. Then he moved to Rochester, MN where he spent over 20 years as a Sr. Research Technologist at the Mayo Clinic developing animal models and performing surgical procedures for a variety of laboratories. In 2017 Bruce began working with Dr. Ludwig’s neuro-engineering laboratory at Mayo. He currently provides surgical services and animal modeling support for WITNe. In addition to lab work Bruce enjoys kayaking, outdoor adventures, and good beer with good friends.
