In his tenure at WITNe Dr. Nishant Verma’s tenacity and drive has led to him graduating with his PhD in less than 4 years. He accomplished more in his short time here than could have ever been anticipated.
Most recently he was first author on Efficacy of bone stimulators in large-animal models and humans may be limited by weak electric fields reaching facture (Verma et. al); and in November successfully defended his dissertation to achieve his PhD in less than 4 years.
Dr. Verma is moving on from the WITNe labs but we cannot say enough about his dedication to not only his research but improving the biomedical engineering field. We also want to sing his praises as a wonderful friend and bright light in the lab that will be missed.
